Next year, 8th grade students will mentor 6th grade students and seniors will mentor 9th grade students. Mentors are in good academic and behavior standing here at Central. Our mentors are model students. If you are interested in being a mentor next year, please visit the mentoring website and complete the form expressing your interest. *"High school! The Science National Honor Society and Biology Club are sponsoring a Costa Rica Adventure Tour for the Summer of 2020! The 9-day tour includes surfing, kayaking, white water rafting, exotic animal rescue visit, horseback riding, National Parks, and much more! An interest meeting is being held in the senior cafeteria on Wednesday, May 15th at 6:00p. Please see Mr. Horton or Mr. J. Burns for more information is you cannot make the meeting."
*The Catholic Charities within the refugee assistance program are looking for help. Their goal at the program is to help refugee students increase English literacy and work with students on developing critical skills they will need to succeed in their educations and lives. They are currently searching for volunteers to assist in their program over the summer. The program will run Monday through Friday from June 3 to July 18. Students can volunteer from 8-12.
