| The library will open for everyone on Monday, August 19th! We can't wait to see all of you after we've had library orientation with all grade levels. |
| If you are a new student to Rutherford County Schools, please come to computer lab 227 during your lunch study hall on Thursday (8/8) or Friday (8/9), and Ms. Johnson will assist you with logging into the computer and getting access to Office 365. She will be in the lab both days for all lunch periods. This is only for students brand new to Rutherford county schools. If you are a student that attended a Rutherford County school last year, your username and password will be the same as before. If you have forgotten your password, you may have a teacher email me your name, and I can reset it. |
| For those interested in joining Senior BETA club this year, application packets are now available on the Senior BETA web page. Submit all application materials in a manila envelope to Ms. Frazer in room 104 by Thursday, August 29th. No late submissions will be accepted. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Frazer or Mr. Boynton. |
| Central Magnet Chess program is having it's open house on Monday, August 12th. Both middle and high school students are invited to the open chess play from 3:15 to 5:15 in room 131. Parents are should plan to attend the informational chess program meeting at 4:15 to 5:15 in room 132. |
| CMS HOSA will sponsor our 1st drive of the school year on Thursday, 8-29 from 7:30 to 1:00 in the gym. You may donate if you are 16 (with parent consent) and 17 & up. There is a link to the sign up on the CMS homepage & HOSA webpage! Each donation saves 3 lives & you help increase our Senior HOSA Scholarship money with each donation! Red, White & Blue theme!! |

| If you are an 8th grader or 12th grader, it's not too late to sign up to be a mentor. Simply go to the mentoring website and follow the directions. |
| All class change requests require a form, which is located outside of Guidance. Any changes to add a new class must be submitted by Aug. 21. Any changes to drop levels or for a study hall must be submitted by Sept. 4. See your counselor for questions. |
| Touch-A-Truck and Marketplace Hosted by MOPS Murfreesboro is needing volunteers, Saturday, August 17, at Lane Agri-Park Community Center. | Any middle school girls that are interested in softball but didn't make it to tryouts should grab an interest form from outside Coach Stanley's room, fill it out, and turn it into the envelope outside of Coach Stanley's room (234). |
| The middle school cheerleaders will be selling tickets to Friday night's Back to School dance. They will be selling tickets during A and B lunch today and tomorrow. Also at the door. Tickets are $5 a piece. For more information you can see Mrs. Miller. |
| The high school Girls started preseason play with an 8-0 win over Riverdale last night. Ella Chesney and Ashliegh Clark both had hat tricks. Zoe London and Jenny Peters also scored. Avery Pogue had the shut out in goal. |
