Students— If you are new to Rutherford county schools and would like information about accessing your school email, Ms. Johnson will be in lab 227 today and tomorrow during your lunch study hall to assist you. Make sure you come at the beginning of your lunch study hall, but check in with your 5th period teacher first.

Hey high schoolers! We are starting a new club, Central Magnet Students Demand Action/March For Our Lives, in order to combat the American gun violence epidemic. Our interest meeting is this Wednesday right after school in Ms. Way-Kiani’s room, and any high schooler is welcome to attend. If you want more info or can’t come to the Wednesday meeting, you can find me, Sophia Kennan, Raley Underwood, or Jadyn Scott! Thank you!

Attention Upper Level Spanish Students! The National Spanish Honor Society will be having its first meeting on Sept. 4th during club time! Applications are available in Ms. Kime's room. You will need to turn in the completed application form (which requires signatures!) as well as dues the day of the first meeting. Officers will be voted on then! Ms. Pinson & Ms. Kime look forward to another great year.

If you are interested in joining the robotics team this year, you need to see Mr. Guthrie in room 349 for an application. This year Central will have 3 different teams and students in middle school and high school are invited to join. There will be a parent meeting on September 3 to get more information about the programs offered.

A fire can breakout with little or no warning.  The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Know your evacuation routes at school and at home.  Don't forget to identify a secondary evacuation route in case your primary route is not available.

The deadline to change to a different class has passed. You may change levels in a class or drop a class for a study hall until Sept. 4. Please pick up a form outside of Guidance if you need to make a change.
