Attention High School choir students who are attending the clinic at MTSU today: Please board the bus IMMEDIATELY after 1st period! The bus will be located between the Annex and the soccer field (outside the back doors of the choir room). See Dr. Saxon with any questions.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all interested in the trap team on Thursday at 5:30 in Dr. Nabors' room 225. See Dr. Nabors for more information.
Interested in learning how to play the guitar or improving your skills? Join Mr. Hendley tomorrow after school! Classes will be every Wednesday in the Strings' Room.
For those who applied to get into the Senior Beta Club, please note that the new member list will be posted Friday, September 6th on the Senior Beta Club website. Also, if admitted, the Senior Beta Club induction will take place Tuesday, September 10th from 6-7 PM in the auditorium. If you have questions, please see Mr. Boynton or Ms. Frazer.
The high school Art Club officer election will take place this Friday before school at 7:20 in room 350 (art room) bring a breakfast items to share. See the art club web page for more information. Any high school student interested in joing the art club may attend the morning meeting.
Area high school students, their parents and families are invited to attend the upcoming Rutherford County College Night – one of the first college recruiting fairs in the Middle Tennessee region this fall.

The event, hosted by MTSU, features 50 colleges and universities from across the Southeast. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the Student Union Ballroom, 1768 MTSU Blvd., on the Middle Tennessee State University campus in Murfreesboro.
The deadline to change to a different class has passed. You may change levels in a class or drop a class for a study hall until Sept. 4. Please pick up a form outside of Guidance if you need to make a change.
College Corner hosts a great line up today, Sept. 3! Christian Brothers, Mississippi State, University of Alabama, and University of Louisville will all be in attendance. Stop by!
Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors -- if you were on the high school track team last year but not on the cross country team, please stop by to see Coach Nichols as soon as possible today.
The Middle School Varsity girls soccer team plays here this afternoon against Rocky Fork. Game time is 4:30. Come out and support the Lady Tigers.
The middle school cross-country team competed Saturday at the Donna Tucker Invitational in Lafayette. The boys team finished in 5th place among 10 teams. The girls team placed 3rd out of 9 teams. Top finishers for the Tigers were Vinny Peck, Carson Wood, Emmaline Whitt, and Lila Beth Strickland.
