High school students, are you interested in Architecture, Engineering or Construction? The ACE Mentoring Club is for you. You will be designing a project throughout the year, get to visit local construction projects and have the opportunity to earn scholarship money. Join the ACE Mentoring Club on Wednesday afternoon from 3:15 to 5:00 pm in room 347 to learn more about this club. Please see Mr. Bonanno with any questions.
NEHS induction
The Spanish Club 'Cultura Creativa' meets on Thursday during rotation D in Ms. Kime's room for our first Hispanic craft of the year. Join Mrs. Dasilva, Mrs. Kime, and Mr. Noelle to create and speak en espaƱol.
September 13 is the last day to register for the PSAT. The cost is $17 and registration is in attendance. Please see attendance or your guidance counselor if you have any questions.
College Corner will host the University of South Carolina, University of Kentucky, Sewanee, the University of Alabama at Huntsville, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (College of Arts and Sciences) this week. Stop by and see them during C or D lunch!
Any middle schooler's interested in auditioning for Elf Jr., there will be a parent information meeting on Wednesday, Sep 18th at 6:00pm in Miss Andersen's classroom. You will get all the information you need for auditions. Requirements, dates, times, etc.
High School students interested in being on Tech Crew for the Fall play, please pick up an application from Miss Andersen in room 344 by Monday Sep. 16th.
Attention all students. The Campus Fall Festival is happening on Friday September 27 from 3 until 6-6:30 and you can earn service hours by volunteering to help out. There is a chance to also get roughly 4 maybe 5 hours depending on the need for clean-up after the festival. There is a need for 40 or so volunteers! This is for both MS and HS. The High School fall play, "Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged" is NEXT WEEK! Thurs, Friday, and Saturday (Sep. 26-28th) @ 7pm. Student tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. Come on out and support your fellow CMS students. It's hilarious, you don't want to miss it!!
There will be an archery parent meeting for both new and existing archers on Thursday, September 19th at 6 pm in the CMS Cafeteria. If your child plans on joining the CMS Archery Team this year, you will need to attend this meeting.
If you are interested in wrestling at Eagleville this year, there will be a meeting TONIGHT in the Eagleville high school library a 6:30.
The JV Middle School Cross Country Boys team placed first this past weekend at the Warrior Invitational.

The top five scorers that placed and received medals were Jakob Howard, with a time of 14:12.41, Benson Reavis, with a time of 14:17.73, Hank Wells, with a time of 14:28.36, Nicholas Scurlata, with a time of 14:28.70, and Ty Brown, with a time of 14:32.75.
Top middle school varsity finishers were Vinny Peck, 12:38.29 for boys varsity and Elijah Fearns, with a 13:08.85, and top varsity girls finisher was Lila Strickland with a finish of 14:30.19.

CMS Cross Country will compete again next weekend at Milton for the Milton Invitational.
HS JV and Varsity volleyball defeated Eagleville last night. Caroline Dykes had 9 aces, Meredith Page had 10 kills, Mia Finley had 9 kills, and Chloe Marson had 28 assists. Congratulations to the HS volleyball team. They play tonight at Lawrence County.
The Middle School Varsity Girls soccer team plays LaVergne Middle School this afternoon. Game time is 4:30. Com3e out an support the Lady Tigers.
