The HS JV and Varsity Volleyball team played Smyrna last night. The JV team won. Kaitlin Polly had 1 Ace and 7 kills and Rylee Zeller had 4 kills. The Varsity Volleyball team lost to Smyrna in a very close match that went to 5 games. Mia Finley had 4 Aces, Meredith Page had 19 kills, Carolyn Peay had 2 blocks, Phoebe Stewart had 26 digs, and Chloe Marson had 48 assists. They play tonight at Central against Nolensville. Tonight is Senior Night. We will celebrate our seniors between the JV and Varsity game. Remember students get in free. Come out and support your Volleyball team. |
The Central Magnet golf teams competed in the district tournament yesterday, where the girls team advanced to the regions for the fourth year in a row. Seniors Elise Jones and Ellie Stephens won 3rd and 4th place medals, and will play along with sophomore Rachel Chan this Thursday at Bear Trace Tims Ford in Winchester for the Regional Title, and a chance to advance to state. Senior Dawson Massengale and sophomore HL McCullough advanced as individuals to the Regional Tournament on Thursday as well. Good luck to all the Tiger Golfers! |
