High school students-all books that have been checked out to you for the first quarter are due by this Friday, October 4th. Please stop by the library sometime this week to either return or renew your books. Thanks!
All High School Pep Band musicians playing the pep rally should report to the band room directly after announcements.
Any band student wanting to help with cotton candy sales during the pig out should come get a hall pass from the band room prior to the pig out you are wanting to work.
If you have Jr. Beta dues or convention money, you must turn it in this morning to Ms.Heller before the pep rally!
Students planning on getting their Learner's Permit over Fall Break please come to Attendance this week to pick up their required SF1010 form.
The Central Magnet Golf teams competed in their regional tournament yesterday at Bear Trace at Tims Ford, where Rachel Chan won 3rd place medalist advancing to the TSSAA State Championship for the second year in a row. Ellie Stephens and Elise Jones came in third along with Rachel as a team. HL McCullough and Dawson Massengale also represented Central well, firing a 91 and an 83 respectively.
The boys bowling team picked up a win against Riverdale yesterday to move to 1-1 in district 7. Jyvion Chambers bowled his career high 212 and Matthew Fleischman had the high series of a 554.Cameron Yates the lone bowler that picked up all three of his points. Trent Skinner sealed the match picking up his first career varsity point in the final game. The boys and girls return to action the Tuesday after fall break taking on Rockvale at home.
The Central Magnet lady Tigers finished district play with a 4-1-2 record by beating Marshall Co. 9-0 last night. There were goals a plenty with Ella Chesney, Ashleigh Clark, Leah Cutright, Megan Delaney, Rose Drowota, Maria Kime, and Allie Meikle all scoring. Addison Savley, Kylie London, Jenny Peters, Hope Clark, Ashliegh Clark, Maria Kime, and Ella Chesney all had assists.

The team will start district tournament play next Saturday at 4 PM at Central Magnet vs. Marshall Co.
The Middle School Lady Tigers soccer team lost in triple overtime to Siegel 2 to 1. Alex Woods made the goal and MaKayla Harris had 18 very impressive saves. The Lady Tigers ended the season with a record of 12 wins and 2 losses.
