This is the last week to register for the Seal of Biliteracy exam. The exam costs $20 and registration forms can be found in Mrs. DaSilva's website. If you have completed 2 years of any language, you can be tested. You don't have to be taking advanced courses. Also, if you are a native or heritage speaker of a different language than the one you studied in school, you can take the exam in that language. Exams are available in Arabic, Chinese-Mandarin, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Latin. If you have any questions, talk to your language teacher or go see Mrs. DaSilva in room 134, during C or D lunch.
#1: The library will be closed this Friday for book fair setup. Please be sure to take care of printing any assignments before Friday.

Key club will hold an after school meeting this Thursday from 3:15 - 3:45 pm. This meeting is mandatory for everyone who's going to Dollywood on Saturday. We are also doing a trick-or-treat for Unicef. Every Key club member should have received an orange box and we are counting on your donation to help children all over the world. Please, help your fellow classmates! Any donation is appreciated.
College Corner this week will host Motlow, UT Chattanooga, and University of Alabama at Birmingham. Stop by to see them on Tuesday, Oct. 15 anytime between 12:30-1:30, and learn more!
High School students- check the auditorium doors and/or ask your teachers about the ACT and PSAT rosters. If you are scheduled to test this week and your name is not on a roster see Mrs. Huffman TODAY. The ACT for seniors is Tuesday and PSAT for 9th - 11th grade is Wednesday. Students will report directly to their testing room. Don't forget to bring a calculator and #2 wooden pencils! Good Luck!
