This is the last week to register for the Seal of Biliteracy exam. The exam costs $20 and registration forms can be found in Mrs. DaSilva's website. If you have completed 2 years of any language, you can be tested. You don't have to be taking advanced courses. Also, if you are a native or heritage speaker of a different language than the one you studied in school, you can take the exam in that language. Exams are available in Arabic, Chinese-Mandarin, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Latin. If you have any questions, talk to your language teacher or go see Mrs. DaSilva in room 134, during C or D lunch.
#1: The library will be closed this Friday for book fair setup. Please be sure to take care of printing any assignments before Friday.

A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Emergency supply kits can help you be prepared. Items to keep in your emergency kit include a flashlight, batteries, first aid kit, whistle, phone lists, paper, pencil, water, and non-perishable snacks.
MTSU Holocaust Studies Program is having an event, Monday, October 30th at the James Union Building/Tennessee Room. The time of the program is 2:30pm to 3:45pm. For more information, contact [email protected].
The Boy Scouts of America would like to meet with any boys and girls(Grades 6-12) on Thursday during club time concerning two units that are meeting here in Murfreesboro. If you are interested, go to college corner during club time.
Reminder: If you are going to take an AP test you must pay for the test before Oct 31. Please bring registration form and payment to the attendance office.
The Central Magnet Lady's soccer team won their district semifinal match 3-2 last night and will advance to the district championship on Thursday. In the match Ella Chesney, Brooke Dugan, and Megan Delaney all scored. Leah Cutright added an assist. Avery Pogue had 5 saves in goal. Hope to see everyone out Thursday.
Both the boys and girls bowling teams picked up district wins verse Rockvale yesterday. Boys are 2-1 and girls are 1-1 in district 7. Daniel Mullinix and Kaleb Charles picked up their first career varsity points and Carrie Waugh bowled a 514 series for the girls. Both teams play tomorrow at LTA, 4pm start.
