High school cross country had a huge week last week.  Boys varsity captured the region title while varsity girls did the same.  Boys were led by individual champion Fuji Anday, who ran a time of 15:59.  Eddie Smith, Blake Yuenger, Eli Callender, and Lance Garcia also earned All-Region honors.  Girls were led by individual region runner-up Samantha Ouellete, who ran the 5k with a time of 18:39.  Joining Ouellete with All-Region honors were Kerrigan Walls, Olivia Guse, Emma Kate Hamby, Chandler Shipp, Anna Jones, and Mikayla Morrell.  Both junior varsity squads also dominated their races, capturing those championships as well.  Your Central Magnet varsity runners return to action this Saturday in Nashville for the TSSAA state meet.  Be sure to congratulate them all and wish our varsity runners good luck this weekend.
