Middle school students, next week is Geography Awareness Week, and you can participate by taking the National Geographic GeoBee Qualifying Quiz. The quiz will be online and you can take it during your 5th period study hall next Wednesday on your own device or on a student laptop. Go to the Coach Burns' website for more info. He'll even email you a study packet at your request.
Attention all students -- please complete the surveys found on the school main website. It's very important for you to participate as this is part of the senior thesis process.
The first week of November is Key Club week and we will celebrate it with random acts of kindness. If you are a Key Club member, stop by room 134 TODAY and get one of these awesome notes. Once you do that, you will need to write a special message to a friend, a teacher, or another Key Club member and post the note at their locker of door. Again, go to room 134 and there will be an envelope at the door with the note cards.
In honor of Veterans who have served this country; students will be selling flags which will be placed in front of the school. The sale will be in the cafeteria during all lunches this week through next Monday which is Veterans Day. Your $1.00 donation will go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation
Anyone who is interested in playing middle school boys' soccer needs to attend an interest meeting on Tuesday November 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the Senior Cafeteria.
Your High school girl's soccer team is headed to the State semifinal this evening after defeating Knox Central 2-0 last night. Jenny Peters and Ella Chesney scored the goals. Ashleigh Clark and Brooke Dugan had the assists. The defense stood tall only allowing 5 shots on the night. Avery Pogue had 3 saves in goal.

Tonight's semifinal match is scheduled for 6:30 PM against Greenville on field # 2 at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex. Hope to see everyone there!
