LIBRARY NOTICE:

The library will be closed on the following dates, so please plan ahead for any work that requires a library computer or printing you might need to do for classes during that time.
Monday, November 25 - CLOSED ALL DAY
Wednesday, December 4 - CLOSED AT 11:30
Thursday, December 5 - CLOSED ALL DAY
Friday, December 6 - CLOSED ALL DAY
A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Smoke detectors should be located on every floor of your home and near all places that you and your family sleep. Smoke detector batteries should be changed on a regular basis.
The library will be closed on Monday, November 25 due to Mrs. Denton & Mrs. Svarda attending the Jr. Beta Convention.

The library will also be closed on Tuesday, November 26 for regular "library business" due to ACT Cert testing in the library and library lab.

Middle school students will return, renew, or check out through ELA Lab classes on Tuesday.

The library will also be closed Tuesday morning due to the HS Project Lit Book Club meeting from 7:30-8:00.
High school Project LIT members: Remember, we are meeting this Tuesday morning from 7:30-8:00 to discuss The Opposite of Always. We look forward to seeing you then!
We would like to congratulate 7th grade violists Jayden Po'e and Connor Smith for making the Mid-State Orchestra this weekend. Viva viola gang!

There will be an interest meeting for all middle schoolers, boys and girls, who would like to play middle school golf in the spring. The meeting will be held in Coach Cato's room, room 115 immediately after school on Monday, 11/25. Let Coach Cato know if you can't make it.
The Lady Tigers used a 27-2 3rd quarter run to get the win over STEM Academy 55-17 to improve to 2-0 on the year. Addison Melton led the Lady Tigers with 15 and Olivia Hart added 12.
The JV Boys Basketball team has started off their season with a win last Thursday against Holloway and two losses on Saturday at Watertown. The leading scorer was Elijah Conard averaging 16 points per game, and leading rebounders were Alex Perry and Ethan Martin. Alec Ingraham has averaged 5 three pointers per game. The boys and girls take on Cannon County tonight here at Central and tomorrow they will travel to Eagleville.
Congratulations to the MS Archery team for placing 2nd in the Swarm the Hive Tournament this past weekend. The HS Archery team finished in 4th place. Individually, Maggie Moore placed 3rd in the MS Female division and Isabella Hire placed 4th in the HS Female division. In the 3D tournament, Graham Hall placed 3rd in the HS Male division.
