A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Smoke detectors should be located on every floor of your home and near all places that you and your family sleep. Smoke detector batteries should be changed on a regular basis.
The library will be closed on Monday, November 25 due to Mrs. Denton & Mrs. Svarda attending the Jr. Beta Convention.

The library will also be closed on Tuesday, November 26 for regular "library business" due to ACT Cert testing in the library and library lab.

Middle school students will return, renew, or check out through ELA Lab classes on Tuesday.

Elf Jr. the first-ever Middle School Musical at CMS will be performing Dec. 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. So, if you want to see Buddy the Elf, sassy Jovie, a Mall Fight with Fake Santa, singing elves, and snow on stage, come on out and support these kids. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!
Auditions for the high school musical, 9 to 5, will be Dec. 11th and 12th! Those interested in auditioning please see Miss Andersen for an audition packet.
This year the yearbook is celebrating Central Magnet's 10th Anniversary. Yearbook prices will increase to $85 on December 1st. Now is a great time to purchase a book at $75.
Beta Conference Winners
The Faith40 refugee Christmas party is December 11th. They need your help to give the kids a good Christmas that they normally would not get. They will accept money or walmart giftcards. To get a point for BETA or Mu Alpha Theta, the amount to give is $20.
All money is due December 6th.

The Lady Tigers cut a Cannon County double figure lead to 4 in the 2nd half, but could get no closer, losing their 1st game of the season 46-31. Addison Melton paced the Lady Tigers with 10 points, the only Lady Tiger in double figures.
Both the boys and girls bowling teams picked up wins yesterday vs Oakland. Liezel Laurel and Bella Goodnight won all three of their points while Georgia Touchton Sydnie Dawson and Carrie Waugh won two. Carrie Waugh also had the high game of the match with a 200. Girls are now 10- 2 overall and finish the district schedule 6-2.
The boys were tied at 8 going into the final game. Tigers won 5 out of 6 in game 3 to take the match by a final of 18-9. They were led by Bennett Neu who had a team high series of 590, Nathaniel Carter who won all 3 of his points, and Trent Skinner who came off the bench to give the boys a huge lift. Will Starling also picked up two points.
The Central Magnet Mens basketball team moved to 3-0 on the season with a 56-53 win over the Cannon County Lions last night.
The Tigers were led by Jayden Hernandez with 12 points and Alec Ingraham with 13 points.
The Tigers hit 11 3-pointers on their way to the victory. The Tigers return to action tonight when they travel to Eagleville to take on the Eagles. Game time is 7:30
