High School Students: Mid Term permission forms were sent home in 2nd period on Thursday, Dec 5th. These forms are due Wednesday, Dec. 11th. These forms are required if you want to leave after taking midterms. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING PHONE CALLS, TEXTS, OR EMAILS THE WEEK OF MIDTERMS.
The writing lab would like to clarify how appointments will work on Tuesday and Thursday of this week due to the alternate lunch schedules. There are four columns on our appointment website. These four columns are for A, B, C, and D lunch. If you originally signed up for a D lunch appointment, please come during D lunch, which will be the 3rd lunch on Tuesday and 2nd lunch on Thursday. The main thing is to ignore the times and come during your intended study hall period. If you have any questions, just come see us.
Auditions for the high school musical, 9 to 5, will be Dec. 11th and 12th! Those interested in auditioning please see Miss Andersen for an audition packet.
Caleb Dochow's family is asking for help with a fundraiser to help bring their adoptive son home from China & are collecting pairs of shoes. You can donate any shoe type, gently used or new. Collection boxes are by Mrs. Gates door in the annex, front entrance lobby & college corner (they are wrapped in purple paper!) We need these by 12-13-19
HOSA Service opportunities: 1. NHC & Alive Hospice Christmas shoebox project...fill a shoebox (or other container) with basic essentials like lotion, kleenex, mints, gum, candies, hairbrush, gloves, etc. due 12-13 to Mrs. Gates
2. Alive Hospice patient Christmas tree- Dollar tree Christmas tree decorated with ornaments, Christmas decorations, lights...due to Mrs. Gates 12-13.
Please remember that as a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, you must complete a points worksheet each semester. Completed points sheets are due to Ms. Way-Kiani by this Friday, December 13th.
TableTop Boardgaming Club will not meet this week.
Congratulations to both our teams as they both placed first in the Shootout at the Rock Tournament. Both teams shot their team high scores for the year this weekend. Individually, CMS had 7 archers place in the Bulls-eye Tournament and 4 archers place in the 3D Tournament. In the MS division, Mikayla Harris was the 2nd place female, Jacob Gardner was the 5th place make and Jaden Poe` was the 1st place male. In the HS division, Isabella Hire and Jenna Mathis were the 3rd and 4th place females and Nathan Blunkall and Andrew Anguish were the 2nd and 3rd place males. In the 3D tournament, Mikayla Harris and Emily Taylor placed 3rd and 5th in the MS female division and Graham Hall and Kayla Barrett were the 4th place male and female in the HS division. The MS archers were also the 3rd place team in the 3D tournament.
The Middle School swim team had a great meet this past Saturday against many Middle TN middle schools. Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed first in at least one of their events: Peyton Roeder, Jackie Dummermuth, Kim Bao Nguyen, Sophia Stringfield, Evie Riley, Kaitlyn Elliott, Sarah Gwen Arnold, and Taylor Kline. Congratulations to the following swimmers who qualified for Regionals in a new event: Paige Turner, Fiona McGoffin, Kim Bao Nguyen, and Evie Riley. Their next meet is this Saturday at LaVergne High School! Come cheer on your tigers!
