Central Magnet 8th Grader Grayson Davis is your 2020 National Geographic Bee School Champion! Grayson didn't miss a single question in the Preliminary, Final, or Championship Rounds of the GeoBee. Next, he will attempt to qualify for the state competition in March. Former Champion Gabe Redferin came in second place, and multi year finalist Jackson Denton finished third. |

Next week, Key Club members will be selling Kryspy Kreme vouchers to help offset the cost of attending District Convention. Vouchers are only $10, which is less than what you would pay in store, and are good for a box of 12 delicious doughnuts. Beginning on Monday, bring your money and help you classmates work their way to the 2020 Convention. |

The middle school swim team had a great swim meet last night at LaVergne High School. Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed first in at least one of their events: Ben Bryant, John Drugmand, Evie Riley, Jackie Dummermuth, Sophia Stringfield, Fiona McGoffin, and Taylor Kline. Avery Lambert scored the go a-head basket last night and the Central Magnet Mens basketball teams completed the sweep of Cascade High School last night with a 40-39 victory. The Tigers were led Jayden Hernandez with 11 points and Fant Smith with 8 points. The JV Tigers also defeted Cascade by a score of 43-33. The Tigers will open District play Tuesday night when they host Forrest High School. |
