A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Smoke detectors should be located on every floor of your home and near all places that you and your family sleep. Smoke detector batteries should be changed on a regular basis.
Attention all Spanish Students: The last day to pay for the National Spanish Exam is WEDNESDAY! $5 is due to either Ms DaSilva or Ms Pinson by then. Gracias!
Sophomores and Juniors, if you would like to be a writing lab tutor next year, you should pick up an application from Mrs. Esberger in the annex. Both parts of the application - the teacher recommendation and interest letter - are due by Friday, February 7th in order to be considered.
NEHS members, if you paid to go see MacBeth next week, please pick up a field trip form from Mrs. Esberger in the annex. These are due back no later than Tuesday, February 4th.
Any Middle School student who wants to participate in the History Bee needs to report to room 227 Thursday morning after announcements. This is for any 6th, 7th or 8th grader who wants to compete. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Miller or Mr. Ruess.
Juniors and Seniors with a 3.75 GPA or highers: Applications for National Honor Society are due this Friday, January 31. Please pick up and turn in your application in Room 105 with Mr. Windham.
Lady Tigers lost a tough one to Community 51-44 to drop to 9-8/1-4. Addison Melton led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 15 and Kaitlin Polly added 14.
The Central Magnet lost a close game last night to the #10 Ranked team in AA Community Vikings by a score of 56-50.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Jayden Hernandez with 12 points with Micah Harris and Alec Ingraham both chipping in 11 each. The loss drops the Tigers to 8-13 overall and 1-4 in District 12AA play.
The Tigers return to district play on Friday when they travel to Forrest to take on the Rockets.
