Women's Chorale and Varsity Choir are open to High School students, and the Middle School choir is open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. If you have previous choir experience, a good ear, and sight-reading ability, we invite you to audition for Madrigals. Auditions are this Thursday, February 6 after school. Any Middle School student that was not able to participate in the History Bee last Thursday may still sign up. There will be another opportunity to take the preliminary quiz this Thursday during Club time in the computer lab in room 227. CMS will be a site for the Feb. 8 ACT. Students will NOT be admitted without a photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID see your counselor this week for an ID form. Middle school students who are testing through Duke TIP will need the two forms sent in the mail and will check in at the end doors at by the high school drop off area. |

Congratulations to the Central Magnet trap team for their performance Saturday at Big Springs. Brennan Martin was the D class champion wit 91 broken targets, and Houston Harvill was junior runner up with 95 broken targets. Congratulations to these Tiger trapshooters. |
The Lady Tigers battled but eventually lost to undefeated Nolensville 54-38. Nolensville held a slim 5-point lead at the half but outscored Central 11-5 in the 3rd to get control of the game. Kaitlin Polly led the Lady Tigers with 21. |
The Central Magnet Tigers defeated the Nolensville Knights 61-51 to pick up another district win last night. The Tigers were led in scoring by Jayden Hernandez with 20 points and Micah Harris with 15 points. As a team the Tigers hit 6 3 points and went 21/27 from the free throw line. The Tigers return to action on Friday when they host Giles Co with game time tipping at 7:30 pm |
