The next Seal of Biliteracy exam is next week, Thursday, February 27th. This will be the last exam of the year and seats will be reserved for Seniors and retakes. Registration will be this week ONLY. The cost of the exam is $20. If you are retaking, prices will vary. To register for the seal of biliteracy exam, you must talk to Mrs. DaSilva in room 134, during C or D lunch.
Attention 6th Graders. Please remember to take a textbook with you to Advisory today. You will need it for an activity we are doing in today's session.
Attention Juniors. Please remember to see Coach Nichols this week or next for your introductory college advisory meeting and ACT planning session. Feel free to come in groups of two to four if you'd like.
Congratulations to the Women’s Chorale and Madrigals! Both high school choirs received SUPERIOR performance ratings, the highest rating given, at the Middle TN Vocal Association Choral Festival yesterday.

If you are interested in auditioning for next year’s Madrigals, come to the choir room immediately following afternoon dismissal today or tomorrow for a short audition.
Yearbooks are on sale online until Saturday, February 29th. The cost is $90. You can also bring a check made out to CMS if you would like to pay in-person. Bring your check to Mrs. Head during 5th period in room 221. The distribution day is scheduled for Friday, April 24th.
TableTop will not be meeting today
ALL State competitors see Mr. Gates for State paperwork ASAP. Registration closes Friday 2-21, so if you need changes to your registration you must see Mrs. Gates before then. After Friday if you are still registered, you are expected to attend.
Juniors: If you have not scheduled yet, please see your counselor today. Sophomores (rising juniors) we will begin scheduling with you on Tuesday, Feb. 18. You should've received an email with instructions, and you can find the Sign Up Genius link on the counseling webpage.
Seniors: Nissan has agreed to take 58 seniors for Job Shadow Day. It is on a first come/first served registration. For further information, please check your Remind App or see Mr. Nichols.
The Central Magnet Mens basketball team advanced to the semi-finals of the 12AA tournament with a 47-44 win last night over the Marshall County Tigers.
The Tigers were led by Micah Harris with 16 points and Avery Lambert with 8 points.
The Tigers sealed the win by going 12/14 from the free throw line.
They will play in the semi-finals on Friday at 6:00 pm when they take on Community High School from Unionville. The Tournament will be played at Marshall County High School.
