This spring, the senior library aides would like to use our book fair platform to provide quality reading materials for the students at Central Magnet while giving back to our community at the same time. Please help us by voting for the local charity you'd most like to support at our book fair. There is a link to vote on the main page of the CMS website. Voting will end at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4th.
YIG travelled to the Capital this weekend....(The kids will have it written out but we won a bunch of awards)
Remember Dr. Apigian is coming to speak this afternoon about mathematics in Data Science. He will be in the senior cafeteria. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity.
If you are going to the Rutherford County Math Contest tomorrow - Tuesday, March 3rd, please be at Blackman HS at 8:45 am. The contest will last until around noon. If you are being dropped off, please tell your ride to pick you up at noon.
Senior Beta members: If you signed up to bring in a donation for the Homeless care packages, please make sure those are in Dr. Roland's room no later than Wednesday.
The Central Magnet Mens basketball team won their 1st round region basketball game on Saturday night by going on the road and defeating Hickman County 48-47.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Jayden Hernandez with 15 points with Gage Swanson and Micah Harris chipped in 8 points each.
With the win the Tigers advance to the Region semi-finals on Tuesday night where they will play the Community Vikings. Game time is 7:45 pm
