Come and see the high school Spring musical comedy, 9to5, to see how these ladies handle their lying, egotistical, hypocritical boss!!!! Tickets are only $5 for students. Show times are next Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm.
MS Student Council is collecting supplies for tornado victims across Middle TN. We will be collecting canned goods, toiletries and blankets. Items can be dropped off in Mrs. Miller’s room, room 218. We will be collecting through next Friday.
Spring Picture Day is coming soon! On Thursday, March 12th during the Early Dismissal day, students will have the opportunity to their pictures with 3 background options. See the bulletin boards in the stairwells to see your choices.
Jr. Beta Bake Sale (service project Monday & Tuesday) Paige Turner & Kaylee Victory will make an announcement both days.
The time to buy After Prom tickets is quickly approaching. Tickets will be sold during C and D lunches starting next Monday, March 16. They are $12 each. Checks to CMS PTO and exact change are greatly appreciated!
Attention ALL Students! There will be a BAKE SALE this THURSDAY for the Half Day! The Natl Span Honor Society will begin selling at 7:15 a.m. in college corner! All items will be $1 each and proceeds will benefit the local Hispanic Community. Bring your money and your appetite!
Any student who paid for an AP exam but doesn't plan on taking the test needs to see Mrs. Clary in Guidance before March 11 for a partial refund.
Freshmen: the Counselors are now scheduling with rising sophomores. Please make an appointment on your counselor's sign up genius, the link is on the Counseling High School page. Come to Guidance at your appointment time and do not wait to be called.
This coming Saturday everyone is invited to attend the Central Magnet Art Show in College Corner. The event will showcase the work of middle and high school students. The doors will open at 5:30 and will close around 6:45, just in time for you to make to the Spring Play.
The high school men's soccer team plays Oakland tonight at Oakland. Jv plays at 5pm and Varsity plays at 7pm.
The Central Magnet High School Softball team watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover from a 4 run 1st inning by MTCS. The Lady Tigers would go on to lose Monday nights contest 5-0. Faith McCaghren battled all night in the circle and led Central with 2 hits. Freshman Hali Phillips was 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 stolen bases. Central Magnet travels to Eagleville tonight to take on the Eagles at 6:00.
The middle school Tigers opened the 2020 baseball season with a solid win beating Rock Springs 11 to1 in five innings. The Tigers had 10 hits as a team with Carter Long and John Hays collecting two hits apiece.

Carter Long, John Hays and Donovan Drew each had two rbi for the game and Will Becker had an inside the park homerun.

Carter Long got the win on the mound, Tigers play Seigel next Monday March 16th at Seigel.
