| The Central Magnet High School Softball team watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover from a 4 run 1st inning by MTCS. The Lady Tigers would go on to lose Monday nights contest 5-0. Faith McCaghren battled all night in the circle and led Central with 2 hits. Freshman Hali Phillips was 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 stolen bases. Central Magnet travels to Eagleville tonight to take on the Eagles at 6:00. |
| The middle school Tigers opened the 2020 baseball season with a solid win beating Rock Springs 11 to1 in five innings. The Tigers had 10 hits as a team with Carter Long and John Hays collecting two hits apiece. Carter Long, John Hays and Donovan Drew each had two rbi for the game and Will Becker had an inside the park homerun. Carter Long got the win on the mound, Tigers play Seigel next Monday March 16th at Seigel. |
