Student Council is having elections for Freshmen Class Officers, Class Representative for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, and Senior Class Secretary. The information and application can be found on the Student Council website. Applications are due no later than Wednesday, September 2nd at 3:00 pm.
Youth In Govt will be having an information meeting about the 2020 Model UN conference in the auditorium, Tuesday Sept 1 at 3:15 pm. We will be done by 3:45. For more information see Mr. Brooks, Mrs Miller or Jake Harris.
MS Student Council will be holding elections on Friday, September 18th. If you are interested in running, go to the MS Student Council page learn more. IF you have any questions, see Mrs. Miller, room 218.
Any middle school girl interested in playing softball this spring needs to check the middle school softball webpage for tryout information. Your tryout video must be submitted to the Flipgrid by October 2 to be considered for the team. If you were on the team last year you do not need to tryout.
Any 8th-12th grader interested in being on the 2020-2021 bowling team will need to be at tryouts Wednesday September 2nd at Lanes Trains and Automobiles. Tryouts will be from 3:45-5:15, you must wear a mask and socially distance. In order to participate your DragonFly max must 100% complete but if you are not finished please come and get all the information that will be given out that day.
The Central Magnet HS Girl's soccer team tied a strong Oakland soccer team 1-1. For Central, Ashliegh Clark scored the goal off of a corner by Ella Chesney. Avery Pogue had a phenomenal game in goal to keep the match level.

The Jv team won 2-1. Shelby Clark and Jill Londre both scored while Madeline Delong had an assist.

Central will pick back up with district play this week traveling to Lawrence Co. and hosting Giles Co. at home on Thursday.
The middle school volleyball team picked up another win on Friday night against Thurman Francis. The lady Tigers won in straight sets 25-11 and 25-9. The JV team also picked up their first win of the season. Both teams return to action tonight as a host Rocky Fork, please come out and support.
Parking Passes are on sale in the Attendance office for all drivers. Passes cost $5 and we will need to know the license plate number.
