MS Student Council will be holding elections on Friday, September 18th. If you are interested in running, go to the MS Student Council page learn more. IF you have any questions, see Mrs. Miller, room 218.
If you are a high schooler interested in joining Mu Alpha Theta, please go to the Mu Alpha Theta website and fill out the Membership Application. Please fill out the form and pay dues by October 2nd.
“Tri-M music honors society is continuing online this year. If you are music-lover currently taking a music class at Central, this is the club for you! For more information, join the Tri-M remind by texting @cmstrim2 to 81010, or contact Ms. Way-Kiani or Anna Robertson. There will be no points requirements this semester.”
The deadline to sign up for the PSAT is September 11. PSAT forms are on the Central Website. Students in grades 9-11 signing up to take the PSAT please bring the form with cash or check to Attendance.
The test cost $17.
Central Magnet Lady Tigers defeated Giles Co. 9-0. Julia Ann Hamilton put in a man of the match performance with 3 goals and one assist. Ashliegh Clark turned in another stellar performance with two goals and two assists. Ella Chesney, Riley Gusman, and Claudia Mitchell rounded off the scoring. Mckayla Nolan had a big match with 2 assists. Maria Kime and Jill Londre both added assists.

The JV won 2-0 with goals from Riley Gusman and Jill Londre.
The middle school Lady Tiger soccer team defeated Rocky Fork yesterday by a score of 3-1. The back line of Jesse Dreiling, Sami Warren, Ava Norwood, and Katherine Wooton dominated the game, while Lillie Bryant scored two goals and Sofia Kime added one in the victory. The team improves to 4-2 on the season.
We will have Spirit Days during the week of September 14 - 18! The dress up days are Monday: Jersey Day, Tuesday: Tye Dye Day, Wednesday: Western Day, Thursday: Hawaiian Day, and Friday: Class Color / Black and Gold Day! Freshmen, we will vote on your class color at the beginning of that week. Student Council invites everyone, in-person, and distance learners, to participate! We will have ways throughout the week for everyone to show their Central Spirit! It’s a GREAT day to be a Tiger!
The middle school volleyball team picked up a win against Lavergne Middle School yesterday afternoon winning 25-8 and 25-13. Adelyn Sconiers contributed 8 aces and 5 digs. The Lady Tigers will travel to Whitworth Buchanan on Tuesday afternoon.
Parking Passes are on sale in the Attendance office for all drivers. Passes cost $5 and we will need to know the license plate number.
