There will be a Zoom link provided on Mrs. Dixon's webpage for distance learners to join from home. While ALL interested students are welcome to attend, juniors and seniors are highly encouraged to come and find out how they can earn this prestigious honor. |
Yearbook picture day for In-Person students will be Friday, September 18th. There will be a separate picture day for Distance Learners on Tuesday, October 13th. Seniors: You have until Friday, October 10th to have your pictures taken at the Loveless Studio. For those that prefer to have your pictures taken on campus, you can sign up for a time on Tuesday, October 13th. Last week the Middle School Girls Soccer team defeated Smyrna Middle 4-1 to improve to 6-2 on the season. Congratulations to the high school cross country teams. Both varsity squads and both JV squads captured team titles this weekend at the Cavalier Invitational in Cookeville. Junior Blake Yuenger led the boys with a time of 17:42 while Junior Samantha Ouellette paced the girls with a time of 19:39. Your Tigers return to action this weekend at the DeKalb County Invitational. |
The MS cross-country teams competed Saturday at the Coleman Midgett Invitational. In a very competitive field of runners, the boys team finished 5th out of 11 teams. The girls team was incomplete, with only 4 runners. Top finishers for Central Magnet were Ty Brown, Jaden Yoder, Catherine Zubkus, and Lila Beth Strickland. The teams compete next at the DeKalb County Invitational on Saturday. |
