The high school tennis team will hold tryouts October 13th and 15th at the Adams Tennis Complex at Old Fort Park. Players that were NOT on last year's roster will come on Tuesday, October 13th, 4:30-6:30PM. All existing team members and any invited back from the Tuesday tryout will come on Thursday, October 15th, 4:30-6:30PM. Everyone trying out must have all physical forms and required documents filled out and uploaded to DragonflyMax prior to the first tryout they attend. |
Central Magnet Girls soccer kicked off postseason play with a district quarterfinal win over Lawrence Co. on Friday night. The final score was 7-0. Ashliegh Clark had 3 goals and an assist. Ella Chesney had 4 assists. Reily Gusman, Zoe London, Meghan Delaney, and Claudia Mitchell also scored goals. Maria Kime added an assist. The team will move onto the District Semifinal on Tuesday night against the winner of Nolensville and Tullahoma. |
The middle school cross-country team is happy to announce results from the TMSAA state championships on October 3rd. Our girls team ran an excellent race and placed 6th out of 13 teams. Team members are Lila Beth Strickland, Catherine Zubkus, Briley Walker, Landry LaPointe, Ava Norwood, and Ashtyn Patterson. The boys team also ran an excellent season-ending performance. They are the 2020 Class "A" State Champions! Team members are Henry Nance, Jaden Yoder, Ty Brown, Hunter Holt, Reed Pullias, Miles Ritter, and Ian Chippeaux. Congratulations to the HS Volleyball Team. They placed second in the District Tournament last Monday night. Chloe Marson, Meredith Page, and Brooke Spurgeon were named All District Players. Malyn Pigg, Meredith Page, and Brook Spurgeon were named All Tournament Players. Give them your support as they go on to play in the Regional Tournament against MLK Tuesday Night at 5:30 at Nolensville HS. |
