The Central Entrepreneurship Organization, a club for those interested in business or entrepreneurship, is having an interest meeting in Coach Worsley’s room on Monday, October 19. There will be a Zoom link for distance learners on the club website.  

The Central Magnet Lady Tigers are back to back district 11AA Champions after a 1-0 win over Page.  Reily Gusman had the winning goal off an assist from Ashleigh Clark. Avery Pogue had four saves in goal.

The Tigers move on to the Region Semifinals and will host Sycamore HS at 7pm next Tuesday at the stadium at Richard Siegel Park.

HS Volleyball defeated Macon Co in Sub-state match last night. Chloe Marson had 11 digs, 50 assists, and 1 block. Caroline Dykes had 9 kills, 27 digs, and 1 block. Meredith Page had 21 kills, 7 digs, 1 ace, and 1 block. Malyn Pigg had 10 kills and 2 blocks. Mia Finley had 4 kills and 1 block. Brooke Spurgeon had 17 kills, 20 digs, 1 block and 1 ace. Emma Grace Smith had 1 ace and 13 digs. They are now in the Elite 8 of the state championship tournament for the first time in the history of Central Magnet. The state tournament will be held at Blackman HS starting on Tuesday next week. Best of Luck to the HS Volleyball team!!
