| Attention all students. The time has come for Central Magnet's semi-annual mock election. This year, students will be voting in three races: Presidential, US Senate, and US House of Representatives - District 4. You saw the mock ballot in Advisory. We hope that you will study the issues, know the candidates, and make informed decisions before you cast your vote. Polls open at 8am on Monday, October 26th and will close at 3pm on Tuesday, October 27th. Link will be provided for you on the main school website. | The National Spanish Honor Society is back! We will be having our first meeting for both new and old members Wednesday, Oct 28th at 3:15 pm in the Auditorium. | HS Volleyball finished 3rd in the state. In the 5 games they played, Chloe Marson had 172 assists, 48 digs and 6 aces. Caroline Dykes had 40 digs and 10 kills, Kaylin Wiley had 70 digs and 4 aces. Meredith Page had 68 kills, 50 digs, and 5 blocks. Malyn Pigg had 28 kills and 17 blocks. Mia Finley had 23 kills. Brooke Spurgeon had 53 kills, 52 digs and 8 blocks. Emma Grace Smith had 24 digs. Noella Obi had 7 kills. What a great season!! Way to go HS Volleyball!! The volleyball team would like to thank everyone who came out to support them in state tournament. |
| The High School Girls soccer team is state bound! They defeated White House Heritage on Saturday night 2-0. Ashleigh Clark opened the scoring on a wonderful free kick. Julia Ann Hamilton scored the second goal off a pass from Ashleigh. The defense did an amazing job maintaining the shutout. Avery Pogue posted another shutout with 5 saves in goal. The girls will open up play in the state tournament on Wednesday night at 6:30. Hope to see you there. |
