Attention all students. The time has come for Central Magnet's semi-annual mock election. This year, students will be voting in three races: Presidential, US Senate, and US House of Representatives - District 4. You saw the mock ballot in Advisory. We hope that you will study the issues, know the candidates, and make informed decisions before you cast your vote. Polls open at 8am on Monday, October 26th and will close at 3pm on Tuesday, October 27th. Link will be provided for you on the main school website. See one of our social studies teachers or Coach Nichols if you have any questions about this year's mock election.
The National Spanish Honor Society is back! We will be having our first meeting for both new and old members Wednesday, Oct 28th at 3:15 pm in the Auditorium. A Zoom Link will also be provided for Distance Learners. Application & dues can be turned in at that meeting. Please see the Application form on either Ms Kime's or Ms Pinson's websites, or the National SPanish Honor Society website. Thank you!
All HOSA members need to check their school email. Important information regarding HOSA Week has been sent out and needs your attention. Also, Monday November 16th the Red Cross Mobile Unit will be on campus for a blood drive. Please go to Central's main web page for the sign-up!
Key Club is accepting sign ups now! If you want to join, the link to the sign- up form is on Ms.Mayette’s website. They are due Friday, Oct. 30th, at 11:59. If you have any questions or issues, contact Comfort Markwei or Allison Nelson.
National English Honor Society has emailed acceptance letters to applicants via your school email. Please check for an email from Mrs. Esberger if you submitted an application. Dues should be turned in to Mrs. Esberger or Ms. Morris's room.
The deadline to pay for your AP exams is Friday October 30th. Please bring your payment and registration form to Attendance.

HS Volleyball finished 3rd in the state. In the 5 games they played, Chloe Marson had 172 assists, 48 digs and 6 aces. Caroline Dykes had 40 digs and 10 kills, Kaylin Wiley had 70 digs and 4 aces. Meredith Page had 68 kills, 50 digs, and 5 blocks. Malyn Pigg had 28 kills and 17 blocks. Mia Finley had 23 kills. Brooke Spurgeon had 53 kills, 52 digs and 8 blocks. Emma Grace Smith had 24 digs. Noella Obi had 7 kills. What a great season!! Way to go HS Volleyball!!
The volleyball team would like to thank everyone who came out to support them in state tournament.
The High School Girls soccer team is state bound! They defeated White House Heritage on Saturday night 2-0. Ashleigh Clark opened the scoring on a wonderful free kick. Julia Ann Hamilton scored the second goal off a pass from Ashleigh. The defense did an amazing job maintaining the shutout. Avery Pogue posted another shutout with 5 saves in goal.

The girls will open up play in the state tournament on Wednesday night at 6:30. Hope to see you there.
