The Central Entrepreneurship Organization, a club for high schoolers looking to start businesses, is hosting a virtual guest speaker from MTSU on Monday, November 9. The Zoom link will be on the webpage.
Today marks the beginning of HOSA week for our CMS chapter. This year we want to extend our gratitude to our faculty and staff by acknowledging the hard work they have shown towards our student body. Throughout this week, faculty and staff members will be receiving personal letters and sweet treats as a "thank you" from our HOSA chapter for your ongoing efforts.
Due to technical difficulties, the Mu Alpha Theta Challenge Problem has been extended through this week. You can submit your answers even if you submitted last week. See the Mu Alpha Theta website or Twitter. Good luck.
If you're interested in joining the middle school book club, please e-mail Mrs. Svarda by Wednesday, November 11th to receive the Zoom link for the club on November 12th.
"Do you know someone who is serving the United States in the armed forces? With Veteran's Day coming next week, the National Honors Society wants to honor the heroes who protect our nation by lining the front of the school with American flags. During lunch on Friday, Monday and Tuesday NHS will sell small American flags for $1. These flags may be purchased in honor of friends and family in the military and will become part of the display at Central Magnet on Veteran's Day. Look for the table in the lunchroom starting Friday or stop by Room 126 and purchase a flag from Mr. Walker. Proceeds from the sales will go the "Soldier's Child" charity which helps the children of veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice."
Any Central student interested in wrestling at Eagleville should see Coach Kirksey as soon as possible to get information.
