The fall short plays are this weekend- Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $10. You can purchase them at the door or you may purchase a ticket to watch any performance via live stream by finding a poster around the school and scanning the QR code. Science National Honor Society, wants to let all of you know that we are currently looking for prospective members. SNHS is an honor society for “the recognition and promotion of outstanding work in the sciences” and finds purpose in cultivating the pioneers for the future in industry, research and scientific exploration. In order to be eligible, you must be a current junior or senior at Central Magnet. You must have an overall 3.5 GPA and a cumulative science 3.75 GPA. At least one Advanced Honors course in the science classes must be taken prior to the eleventh grade year, as well as having enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment science credit during or before senior year. In order to receive your cord at graduation, you must remain in good standing in both the school and in the chapter, such as upholding GPA requirements, paying dues, attending and participating in meetings and events, etc. Please refer to the CMS SNHS website for the application! The deadline for these applications is Friday, December 4, 2020. We will have our first club meeting on Thursday, November 12 at 2:40 PM open to any residing member and any prospect member.
