Attention CTE Students! National Technical Honor Society is accepting applications for new members! The membership information and requirements are listed on the NTHS website. To join, complete the application on the website and submit your membership dues to your CTE teacher. The deadline for joining is Wednesday, December 16th. Due to the timeline for submitting memberships to the national organization, we cannot accept any late registrations, so make sure you get your application in on time!
Our Club Picture Day is Friday, December 11th. The larger clubs will take pictures in the auditorium while the smaller clubs will take pictures in the gym. The schedule is posted in the bulletin boards and on Central's homepage. Arrive 5-minutes prior to your picture time. We will follow the schedule closely, and we don't want you to miss out. Also, do not bring your backpack when you come for pictures. These can get in the way as people are entering and exiting at this pace. Thank you for supporting your yearbook.
Attention Key Club Members: we will have a mandatory meeting on Friday, December 11th at 4:30 pm. Be sure you join the remind app Keyz21 for more information and updates.
The Central Entrepreneurship Organization is meeting on Monday, December 17th in Coach Worsley’s room. We are accepting new members, so come join in on the fun.”
High School Class Shirts are on Sale!
Visit www.cmstees.com to purchase your shirts. The website will be active until Friday, December 18th. Shirts will be delivered to students in January. If you have any questions, email Dr. Hines.
This year we will be having a virtual talent show for homecoming. If you would like to be in the show, you will upload your act to the FlipGrids that are linked on the High School Student Council website. There are separate flipgrids for middle school and high school acts. The time limit for acts is 5 minutes. If your act is longer than 5 minutes you can email Dr. Hines about an exception to the time limit. All videos must be uploaded to the FlipGrid by Wednesday, January 13th.
Today is the day for a Brain Break! This afternoon from 4-5, learn about self-care and how to take small steps to care for yourself. Check your email for the Zoom link or see the posters around the school for more info. Take an hour to help yourself!
If you are interested in traveling to France in 2021(hopefully) or 2022, there will be a meeting with Ms. Angel at 6pm this Monday, December 14, in Room 206 or a link will be available on Ms. Angel’s website
Are interested in joining the CMS Archery Teams? The archery team is open to all middle school and high school students. Please join us for a virtual CMS Archery interest meeting on Monday, December 14th at 5:30 pm. The link for the meeting will be posted on the Archery team website that day.
