High school students, are you interested in architecture, construction, or engineering then the ACE club is for you. The ACE Club is a mentoring program that introduces students to careers in Architecture, Construction Management, and Engineering. Teams are composed of students and industry mentors to emulate an actual design team. Students are also introduced to colleges with programs in these related fields. MS Student Council is collecting gently used coats for the local homeless shelter. If you would like to donate you can bring them to Mrs. Miller's room, #218. We will be collecting through next Friday, January 22nd. |
The following choir students were recently selected by audition against singers from across the state of Tennessee to participate in local, regional and state honor choirs: Elena Newburry, Leah Pruter and Kaelyn Thurmond received the highest honor of being selected for the Tennessee All-State Honor Choir. Becky Klukowski was chosen as an Alternate for the All-State Choir. Our students were among the highest scorers in the state for their voice parts. All of the above students plus Robert Deaton, Amy Hopkins and Isabella Kinard were selected to participate in the Mid-State Regional Honor Choir. All of the above students plus Ashleigh Massengill, Abi Shamburger, Megan Stroup and Caton Taylor were selected to participate in the Rutherford County Honor Choir. Congratulations to all of these students for their musical accomplishments! |
Current sophomores and juniors may apply to be a tutor in the writing lab for the 2021-2022 school year between now and February 12th. You can pick up an application from Mrs. Esberger or print one off of her website.The application includes both the teacher recommendation and student letter of interest. |

Student Council is distributing high school class shirts during 5th period today. If you purchased a class shirt, you may pick it up in the library during your 5th period study hall. If you have a study hall for all of 5th period, please come pick up your shirt during B or C lunch. If your family ordered shirts for multiple grade levels, the older student should pick up the shirts. Teachers, please only send 2 - 3 students at a time to pick up their shirts. Students, as always, please maintain your social distancing. |
