Current sophomores and juniors may apply to be a tutor in the writing lab for the 2021-2022 school year between now and February 12th. You can pick up an application from Mrs. Esberger or print one off of her website.The application includes both the teacher recommendation and student letter of interest. |

The National Technical Honor Society is hosting a virtual series of speakers this semester to highlight careers and special topics for the CTE areas of study at Central. Our first speaker session will be on Monday, January 25th at 2:00 pm (during 8th period) with Dr. Apigian from MTSU. Dr. Apigian will be speaking about data science, a field of computer science. The Zoom link will be available on the NTHS website on Monday, January 25th. |

The Lady Tigers notched their 1st ever win over Nolensville, defeating the Lady Knights 46-44. Kaitlin Polly led the Lady Tigers with 19 and Olivia Hart added 14. The win pushes the Lady Tigers record to 7-3/1-1. |
The Central Magnet Tigers improved to 2-0 in District 12AA play on Friday night when they defeated Nolensville by a score of 55-52. The Tigers were led in scoring by Jayden Hernandez with 20 points and Avery Lambert with 11 points. The Tigers will be in action again tonight when they host Giles County. |
Congratulations to the following students on their All State and Mid State Theatre accomplishments: For Mid State Acting- Becky Klukowski, Jenna Martin, and Ashleigh Massengill; Mid state musical theatre- Caleb Comer, Becky Klukowski, Jenna Martin, Ashleigh Massengill, Rachel Oppmann- For all state acting- Ashleigh Massengill; For All State Musical Theatre- Ashleigh Massengill and Rachel Oppmann; All students also received All County Recognition. In the process of auditioning, the above students were called back to meet with specific universities and colleges, and over this past weekend they had the opportunity to participate in several workshops.
