| The American Legion Girls State is a citizenship program offered to Junior girls. It is one of the most highly regarded programs in the nation. Any Junior girl who is interested in attending Girls State this year, needs to see Mrs. Gerhart in Guidance. A resume and essay will need to be complete by February 22nd. | The Lady Tigers struggled defensively all night, ultimately falling at Marshall County in OT, 46-44. The loss was the 2nd OT loss of the district season for Central Magnet, dropping the Lady Tigers to 8-4, 2-2. |
| The Central Magnet Men's basketball team fell to 3-1 in District 12AA play on Friday night when they lost to Marshall County 49-35. The Tigers were led in scoring by Avery Lambert with 9 points. The Tigers return to 12AA action tomorrow when they travel to Community High School to take on the Vikings. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity at 7:30. |
