Most people know the Classical period of music for the composer Mozart, but the era’s most important contribution to modern music is the sonata format, which has become the standard structure for pop songs.
Speaking of Mozart, why did Mozart kill all his chickens? Because when he asked who the best composer was, they said “Bach Bach Bach”
MS Student Council is collecting items for nursing staff working with COVID patients at St. Thomas Rutherford. We are looking for prepacked snacks (peanut butter crackers, cookies, etc.) as well as small packages of lotion, pens and restaurant gift cards to be distributed to the nurses. All donations can be dropped off in Mrs. Miller room (room 218). We will be collecting through Friday, March 26th. Please see Mrs. Miller, Braden Box or Reagan Warren if you have any questions.
Student Council has a limited number of class shirts and 2020-themed ("Can't Mask Our Roar") short sleeve t-shirts still available for purchase at www.cmstees.com. The store will be open until Friday, March 19th but the shirts may sell out before then. Shirts will be delivered to Central for distribution.

Your Tiger Baseball team defeated Eagleville 10-0 in 6 innings last night. Brady Sing-Koo-many got the win on the mound giving up only 1 hit & striking out 9. Mason Lanza, Adam Apigian, & Jake Hogue all had hits and scored twice. Dalton Jenkins had a huge 2-out, 2 RBI hit. Freshman John Hays had 3 great catches in right field. Carter Maddox slammed the door in the 6th with 3 K’s.
The High School men's soccer team opened the season with a strong 5-2 win over Rockvale HS. The team was led by Jorge Graniel who had a goal and 3 assists. The goal scoring was well rounded and included Sam Apigian, Will Kassebaum, Clay Thompson, and Andre Moriel. Julian McMillian had an assist. Ryan Stoddard had 6 saves in goal. The boys will continue in play this weekend at the Meet in the Middle Classic.
The Central Magnet dropped to 0-2 on the season Tuesday night. Losing to a very good MTCS program 12-0. The Lady Tigers will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Franklin Friday and Saturday for the Mary Vowell Classic.
