| Congratulations to the HS team for placing 3rd and to the MS team for placing 8th in the Tennessee NASP State Archery Tournament. Individually, Anna Seay was the 1st place MS female, Emily Taylor was the 4th place MS Female, and Tasman Takayama was the 5th place HS male. |
High School softball went 2-3 at the Upper Cumberland classic this past weekend. A 20-0 win over Jackson County and a 12-2 win over Middlesboro. Junior pitcher Ellie Nath picked up both wins. Freshman Emmaline Whitt recorded her first career home run and Senior Abby Griffin hit 2 more home runs increasing her season total to 4. The Lady Tigers have a busy week- with games at Shelbyville and Forrest Monday and Tuesday before returning home Thursday and Friday. |
