Our last Young Life club of the semester is this Monday April 12, so you don’t want to miss it! 1515 Greenland Drive at 7:30 pm. Come help us celebrate our seniors and make their last club feel special.
We will have pizza and games.
Also, if you know and 8th graders they are invited to come.
Central Magnet Men's Soccer moved to 3-0 in district play Friday night with a 7-0 win over Marshall Co. Julian McMillian put in a man of the match performance with 2 goals and 2 assists. Jorge Graniel had 2 goals and one assist. Sam Apigian scored twice. Clay Thompson scored and assisted once, while Eli Horton added an assist. The team continues its season with Smyrna HS on Tuesday night.
Middle school baseball Tigers drop to 7 and 3 overall losing to Oakland middle Friday 4 to 2. Owen White, Joshua Duggin, Collin Wind and Jon-Micel Courtney had hits for the Tigers. Wind and Duggin kept the Tigers in the game from the mound.
The Middle School swim team had an amazing showing at the Rutherford County Middle School Championship swim meet this past Saturday. Our boys team placed third with Ben Bryant placing first in both of his events of 100 free and 100 backstroke. Elijah Messick also placed third in his 50 freestyle. The girls team placed second helping the team place second overall! Congratulations to Kim Bao Nguyen for placing first in both the 200 free and the 100 free; Evie Riley for placing first in the 200 IM and second in the 100 fly; Taylor Kline for placing first in the 500 free, Alex Abbott for placing second in the 200 free, Peyton Roeder for placing third in the 100 backstroke; and Sophia Stringfield for placing third in the 100 breastroke. Congratulations to Evie Riley, Kim Bao Nguyen, Taylor Kline, and Sophia Stringfield for placing second in the 200 Medley Relay and first in the 400 Free Relay; and to Alex Abbott, Peyton Roeder, Alicia Moreno, and Uma Sood for placing second in the 200 Free Relay. What a fantastic end to the regular season. Go Tigers!
The Lady Tiger Softball team dropped a 13-8 decision to Giles County Friday night. Kaitlin Polly led the offensive attack going 3 for 4 with 4 RBI and hit her first career Homerun. Senior Abby Griffin picked up a pair of hits and RBI's. Emmaline Whitt also homered. The Lady tigers return to action tonight as they host Lavergne at 5:30.
