The Central Magnet Math Team performed well on the 3rd and final Interscholastic Math League meet of this year.
Benjamin Xiao placed 3rd individually in Integrated 1,
Angel Hu placed 6th individually in Integrated 3, and
Ashleigh Clark placed 5th individually in Calculus.
Central's standing over ALL 3 meets this year is as follows: (These subjects will receive trophies!)
Integrated 1 - 4th place
Precalculus - 4th place
Calculus - 1st place

Applications for membership in the National English Honor Society are now available for current sophomores and juniors. You can find the application on Mrs. Esberger's webpage. These are due by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 5th. Email Mrs. Esberger if you have any questions.
If you are interested in being a part of the team developing next year's newspaper, please go to Mrs. Esberger's website for the application to join. You have until May 14th to complete the application. We look forward to hearing how you can be a part of the staff!
This Friday is the Theatre 4 written and directed one acts featuring theatre students in classes 1-3. The advanced theatre class has been working on these original one acts since the end of last semester. Make sure to come out and support your fellow students this Friday at 6pm. Admission is free. The High school soccer team moves to 4-0-2 in district play with an 8-0 win over Giles County last night. Will Kassebaum scored a brace. Jeremiah Broyles scored a brace and added an assist. Jordan McGoffin scored and had two assists. Knox Rosser, Julian McMillian, and Jorge Graniel scored, while Sam Apigian, and Clay Thompson had assists.

Central Men's soccer is currently 2nd in district and ranked 4th in the state in AA Soccer.
The Middle School Golf Team played their last regular season match Thursday night. The girls team consisting of Anna Powell, Lauren Powell, and Julia Stuible took 1st place. The boys team consisting of Henry Nance, Collier Pawlowski and Will Hemmrich took 3rd place. Lauren, Anna, and Julia were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall low scores for girls! They will play in the district tournament May 4th at Cedar Crest. The girls' team has had an undefeated season!
