High school students-All library books are due back by this Friday, April 30th. If you're interested in checking out books from our library this summer, please fill out the summer checkout form on our website. If you sign up, you will get to check out five books before you leave school for summer break.
Congratulations to the following students who won medals on the National Latin Exam. Silver medalists were Breana Yodis, Ross Kleinlein, Emma Hightower, and Matthew Feragola. Gold medalists were Joshua Simmons, Samara Kolluri, Jackson Faulk, Collier Pawlowski, Sophia Crips, and Makayla Lattin.
Applications for membership in the National English Honor Society are now available for current sophomores and juniors. You can find the application on Mrs. Esberger's webpage. These are due by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 5th. Email Mrs. Esberger if you have any questions.
If you are interested in being a part of the team developing next year's newspaper, please go to Mrs. Esberger's website for the application to join. You have until May 14th to complete the application. We look forward to hearing how you can be a part of the staff!

Congratulations to the following swimmers for a wonderful performance at the TN State Swimming Championship at Ensworth this weekend: Kailey Orr, who placed in the top 10 in both of her events, the 50 free and 100 free; Parker Dawes, who placed in the top 30 in both of his events, the 50 free, and 100 free; Taylor Walker, who PR'ed in both of her events; Caden Sweetman, who got top 30 in his 100 backstroke; and Jean Drugmand, the only freshman on the team to make it to state and killed it! Even with an extended amount of time and uncertainties throughout the swim season this year, these kids showed up and worked hard to make Central Magnet proud. Go Tigers!
The Lady Tiger softball team picked up a 13-0 victory over La Vergne Monday night. Junior Caitlin Dodson led the offense with 2 hits, a walk and 2 RBI. Jacey Goetzinger drove in 4. Jasmyn Stanley and Payton Nicholson added triples. Juniors Ellie Nath and Dodson combined for the 1 hit shutout. The lady tigers will travel to Marshall County Tuesday.
