High school students-All library books are due back by this Friday, April 30th. If you're interested in checking out books from our library this summer, please fill out the summer checkout form on our website. If you sign up, you will get to check out five books before you leave school for summer break.
Congratulations to all students who participated in the National Spanish Exam this month! We had 5 students place Gold (95th percentile or higher), 17 students with Silver (85th percentile), 15 students with Bronze (75th percentile), and 50 students with Honorable Mention. Results are in and are posted outside of Sra. Pinson's door, as well as being distributed through your Spanish teacher. Congratulations to all!!
Applications for membership in the National English Honor Society are now available for current sophomores and juniors. You can find the application on Mrs. Esberger's webpage. These are due by the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 5th. Email Mrs. Esberger if you have any questions.
If you are interested in being a part of the team developing next year's newspaper, please go to Mrs. Esberger's website for the application to join. You have until May 14th to complete the application. We look forward to hearing how you can be a part of the staff!
The High school men's soccer team will take on Hume Fogg at 5pm tonight here at Central. Jv will follow immediately afterwards. Students get in free.
Students, do you find yourself craving candy and chips during the day? Stop by Mrs. Esberger's room in the annex - 2nd door on the left - any time next week. National English Honor Society will be selling junk food for $1 per item. Pick up something after your AP test to reward your efforts! All proceeds support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library's Books from Birth program in Rutherford County. Don't let Dolly down!
High School Softball lost to Community on Thursday night 13-9 after the game was called due to rain. Freshman Jacey Goetzinger and Payton Nicholson picked up multiple hits while Abby Griffin and Jasmyn Stanley chipped in 2 rbi each. The lady tigers will be back in action Monday as they travel to Smyrna for a Jv/v doubleheader.
