For those who applied for Senior Beta club membership, there will be no in-person induction ceremony on Wednesday because of the size of the event. We just want to keep everyone safe, so Dr. Roland and Ms. Frazer will post the list of new members this Friday.

The first HOSA meeting will be this Friday, September 10th, on Teams. Please stop by either Mrs. Harrison or Ms. Guthrie's room in the annex to be added to the Teams group if you do not have them in class. This meeting will be both an interest meeting for prospective members and a regular meeting for those returning.
If you are signed up to take the ACT on Sat, Sept. 11 you WILL be required to show an ID or an ID letter. You will NOT be admitted without one of the forms of ID. Per ACT policy, you will also be required to wear a mask in order to be admitted and take the test. Please see your counselor if you need an ID letter or have questions.
The Rutherford Co College Fair is Sept 8, from 6:00p-8:00p, at the MTSU student Union Ballroom.
The high school softball team will begin fall conditioning and open field workouts on Tuesday September 14th. Any individuals who may have missed summer tryouts but is interested in joining the team should see Coach Stearns in the gym immediately.
The cheerleaders will be selling Smoothie King smoothies at lunch each Monday beginning September 13th. The cost of each smoothie is $6 and goes to help your high school Central Magnet cheerleaders go to Nationals in February.
The Middle School Volleyball team defeated Whitworth Buchanan Middle Tuesday night in straight sets 25-21; 25-21. The win moved the Lady Tigers to 5-1 in district play. The JV team also picked up their 4th victory of the season winning 25-12; 25-9. Christian Griffin made a tremendous play to spark the team and Emery Bland had 25 aces. The Lady Tigers return to action Thursday Night- traveling to Rocky Fork.
The Tigers fell to Rockvale yesterday 315-363. Owen Zubkus led Central with an 84. The Lady Tigers defeated Rockvale 177-219. Rachel Chan was the low medalist with a 75. Central Magnet will compete in the PCA Invitational next Monday at Stones River CC at 1:00.
The High school girls’ soccer team moved to 2-0 in district play and 6-1 on the season last night with a 5-0 win over Giles Co. Ashleigh Clark, Maria Kime, Reily Gusman, Julia Ann Hamilton, and McKayla Nolan all scored. Ashleigh Clark, Shelby Clark, and Meghan Delaney all had assists. Alyssa Kini had the shutout in goal.
Middle school tennis extends their win streak to 3-0 with wins over Christiana middle yesterday. They play Rockvale tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.
