Music students who would like to join the Tri-M Music Honor Society should turn in a Membership Acceptance Form and $5 dues to Mrs. Way-Kiani no later than Friday, September 10th 

 

Middle School Student Council elections are THIS Friday. Check out the middle school student council website for a list of representatives.  

 

Any junior interested helping with Prom 2022 needs to attend the Prom Committee meeting next Monday, September 13th during E Club rotation.  The meeting will be via Zoom and instructions on how to get the link are on the Prom Committee club page.  Please contact Ms. Benjamin with any questions or issues. 

 

Now make the grade you wanted on your last Spanish quiz or test?! The National Spanish Honor Society is now offering Tutoring with upper-level students! Please visit any of the Spanish department websites to locate the link to sign-up for a tutoring session during CT period. Thank you! 

 

The first HOSA meeting will be this Friday, September 10th, on Teams. Please stop by either Mrs. Harrison or Ms. Guthrie's room in the annex to be added to the Teams group if you do not have them in class. This meeting will be both an interest meeting for prospective members and a regular meeting for those returning.  

 

Murfreesboro Young Life will have their annual "Color War" on September 13th at 6:30 p.m. at the Sportscom pavilion. The first 50 students there get a free white Young Life shirt. Participants should also wear white. All high school students are invited.   

 

 If you are signed up to take the ACT on Sat, Sept. 11 you WILL be required to show an ID or an ID letter. You will NOT be admitted without one of the forms of ID. Per ACT policy, you will also be required to wear a mask in order to be admitted and take the test.  Please see your counselor if you need an ID letter or have questions. 

 

The high school softball team will begin fall conditioning and open field workouts on Tuesday September 14th. Any individuals who may have missed summer tryouts but is interested in joining the team should see Coach Stearns in the gym immediately.  

 

The cheerleaders will be selling Smoothie King smoothies at lunch each Monday beginning September 13th.  The cost of each smoothie is $6 and goes to help your high school Central Magnet cheerleaders go to Nationals in February. 

 

After a hard-fought match, your middle school girls soccer team came away with a tie yesterday at Oakland. A strong defensive effort was put in by the entire team. Today’s game with Stewart’s Creek has been postponed until September 20th.
