Juniors and Seniors:  if you need to take the AAPPL (pronounced "apple") or ALIRA (pronounced "ah-li-rah") to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, please register and pay for the exam by 2:00 pm this Friday, Oct. 15th.  See Ms. Dixon with any questions. 

Monday night, October 18th, Young life is having an all-city dodgeball night at 7:57pm at First United Methodist gym. Everyone in high school is invited! 

Tuesday, Oct. 19 College Corner will host Mississippi State and Harding University during C/D lunch. Stop by and see them! 

Seniors: the University of Alabama is offering a free application Oct. 18-22. Go to the University of Alabama Free App Week webpage for more details at https://go.ua.edu/free-app-week. Ole Miss is also offering a free application Oct. 15-17 by using the code FreeApp21.

Congratulations to the High School Girls’ Soccer team for winning district last night.  The girls fought hard in a back-and-forth match with Page.  During the game, Reily Gusman scored off a pass from Ashleigh Clark.  Page tied the match up late and sent to game to overtime and then penalty kicks.  Alyssa Kini stood on her head with 2 saves and another missed attempt from a Page shooter.  For Central, Ashleigh Clark, Meghan Delaney, and Maria Kime converted their kicks to win 3-2. 

Tiger tennis are county tennis champions once again! Cici Schultz brought home her second girls singles championship after a great semifinals match against her teammate Olivia Koffman.  Both singles and doubles players were instrumental in the girls being champions against Siegel 4-1 and the boys team brought home the top spot trophy after hard-fought matches against a strong Oakland team, with second doubles Greyson Kekelis and John Gamble clinching the 3-2 victory with their 8-0 win.    

The high school cheerleaders will be selling Smoothie King smoothies on Monday.  The price for each smoothie is $6.  Please support your HS Tiger Cheerleaders. 

If you are missing a pair of glasses, we have several in the front office.  Please come by and see if one of them belongs to you.
