Congratulations to the high school cross country teams for capturing state championships in Hendersonville on Friday! This marks the first time in Rutherford County history that a high school has captured both cross country titles in the same year. Earning All-State honors were seniors Samantha Ouellette, Blake Yuenger, Emma Kate Hamby, Logan Kelley, and junior Mikayla Morrell. Samantha also took the individual championship with a time of 18:31. Your Tigers are so happy to bring the championships back to Murfreesboro. This marks the second girls team title and also the second boys team title in Central Magnet history. Be sure to congratulate your Tigers when you see them this week! |
