The middle school drama department presents Matilda Jr! Performances are December 3rd and 4th @ 7pm and December 5th @ 5:00pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are sold at the door. Come out and support your fellow students!
The Men's Varsity basketball team improved to 1-1 on the season with a 59-30 victory over the STEM Academy Chargers on Friday night. The Tigers were led by Jake Maddox with 12 points, Alex Perry with 11 points 9 rebounds,
The High School Swim Team had a great win against Riverdale on Thursday night. The following swimmers placed first in at least one of their events: Taylor Walker, Sophia Stringfield, Lilly Ann Brown, Jackie Dummermuth, Caden Sweetman, Jean Drugmand, Parker Dawes, Cameron Conley, Kaitlyn Elliott, Cameron Walker, and Sarah Gwen Arnold. The following swimmers qualified for Regionals in at least one of their events: Taylor Walker, Cameron Walker, Jean Drugmand, Evan Keegan, Cameron Conley, Jackie Dummermuth, Lilly Ann Brown, Caden Sweetman, Sophia Stringfield, Sarah Gwen Arnold, Parker Dawes, and Yao Xiao. The following swimmers qualified for States in at least one of their events: Taylor Walker, Caden Sweetman, and Parker Dawes.
The Middle School Swim Team had a great swim meet on Saturday at LaVergne High School. The girls' team placed first, and the boys' team placed second with the team placing second overall. Peyton Roeder placed third in the 100 Individual Medley and first in the 50 Backstroke, Alicia Moreno placed third in the 50 Free, JT Parkerson placed third in the 50 Free, Kim Bao Nguyen placed second in the 100 Free and third in the 50 Breastroke, Alex Abbott placed third in the 100 Free, Parker Lindquist placed first in the 50 Backstroke, Jake Bull placed second in the 50 Breastroke, and Benjamin Xiao placed third in the 50 Breastroke. The Girl's Medley Relay with Peyton Roeder, Alex Abbott, Kim Bao Nguyen, and Alicia Moreno got 1st place, and their 200 Free Relay got second. The Boy's Medley Relay with Parker Lindquist, Jake Bull, JT Parkerson, and Tony Yater got second place.
The Middle School Boys Basketball team lost a close game to Rocky Fork on Friday. Benson Reavis led Central with 7 points and Hollis Jackson added 6.
