Today is the Preliminary Round of the 2021 CMS GeoBee. All participants should go to Coach Burns' room 202 immediately after B lunch. The GeoBee will start at 12:10. You don't need to bring anything. Please be on time.
The Class of 2022 is selling Central Magnet Yard Signs. We have general Central Magnet signs as well as signs celebrating our athletic teams, senior class, and band. The middle school drama department presents Matilda Jr! Performances are December 3rd and 4th @ 7pm and December 5th @ 5:00pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are sold at the door. Come out and support your fellow students!
The 1st regular season basketball home game is Tuesday night November 30th vs Mt. Pleasant High School. The first 100 students to come to the game will receive free pizza. The Tiger bowlers handily defeated Community High School last night, 21-2. The victorious Tigers were paced by Will Starling's score of 182, a 199 by Trent Skinner, and a 232 from Daniel Mullinix. Central fell just one pin short of pitching a shutout.
Congratulations to the High School JV Boys Basketball team. They defeated Holloway last night by a score of 66 to 16. Will Becker led the way with 24 points, Carson Wood had 13, and Garrett Florida had 8 points. The team is now 2-0 and will battle Mt. Pleasant today in a clash of the two Tigers. Come out and support your teams.
Middle School Lady Tigers split with Oakland Middle last night with JV getting the win 17-14 and varsity taking their first loss of season 41-18. Landry LaPointe scored 6 points for the JV while Madison Stanley led the varsity with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Next game is Thursday night at home against Stewart’s Creek.
