The library will only have passes open each day this week for students needing to come in for a quick check-in/check out of books. Your students should stay in class and prepare for upcoming exams and only sign up for a library pass if they need to come check out books before Winter Break.  

The Middle School Boys and Girls Track and Field Team will have a parent meeting this Thursday, December 16th, at 5:30 in the senior cafeteria. We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin our new season. Please see Coach J. Burns in room 132 if you have any questions.

Attention High School Students! If you would like to order a letter jacket, see your coach or Coach Kirksey. If you are in band, chorus, drama, or any other non-athletic group and would like to order a letter jacket, see Coach Kirksey.  

Audition packets for the high school spring musical Mamma Mia! are now available for any student interested in auditioning. You can find the packets on Mrs. Sweet's or Dr. Saxon's websites, as well as the call board outside of the theatre classroom. Auditions will be after school on December 15 from 3:15-6:15pm. Callbacks are December 16. See Mrs. Sweet for any questions. 

The high school cheerleaders are selling "Let's Get Rowdy" spirit shirts for $15 now through next Friday, December 17th.  Flyers are posted around the school displaying the shirt design.  See a cheerleader or Ms. Benjamin to order yours today! 

"The Lady Tigers went to 2-0 in the district with a 62-22 victory over Hillwood on Friday. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Addison Melton who scored 16pts all in 1st quarter, Olivia Hart added 12pts & 7reb, Reagan Brand had 8pts & 8reb, Reese Carlisle had 6pts, Rylee Pelham, Vada Thomas & Libby Hines had 4pts, and Geny Bineza, Kaitlin Polly, Reagan Creasy and Bethany Jackson finished with 2pts.  The Lady Tigers will be in action tomorrow night at Mt. Pleasant. " 

The Central Magnet Men's basketball team improved to 6-1 on the season with a 55-49 victory over the Hillwood Hilltoppers on Friday night. The Tigers were led by Mason Brown who scored 15 points, Kyle Messerly who added 14 points, and Alex Perry chipped in 11 points.  The Tigers are now 2-0 in play and will return to play tomorrow night when they have a rematch at Mt Pleasant High School.
