The library will only have passes open each day this week for students needing to come in for a quick check in/check out of books. Your students should stay in class and prepare for upcoming exams and only sign up for a library pass if they need to come check out books before Winter Break.

The Middle School Boys and Girls Track and Field Team will have a parent meeting this Thursday, December 16th, at 5:30 in the senior cafeteria. We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin our new season. Please see Coach J. Burns in room 132 if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Sabrina Hoja, your 2021 CMS GeoBee Champion! She was very impressive the entire contest, and our second ever 6th grade champion (Gabe Redferrin was the first).
The winning question:

"Anatolia, a region that lies east of a strait called the Bosporus, is part of which country?" She correctly answered Turkey and became our 11th champion here and Central Magnet.

Parker Lindquist came in second place with a very strong showing, and Liam Arcos was third.
