The library will only have passes open each day this week for students needing to come in for a quick check in/check out of books. Your students should stay in class and prepare for upcoming exams and only sign up for a library pass if they need to come check out books before Winter Break.  

The Middle School Boys and Girls Track and Field Team will have a parent meeting this Thursday, December 16th, at 5:30 in the senior cafeteria. We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin our new season. Please see Coach J. Burns in room 132 if you have any questions. 

We have therapy dogs visiting in the library this Wednesday and Thursday! Visit the library website to see the times our dogs will be visiting and to sign up for a pass to drop by and get your therapy in before midterms.

Attention High School Students! If you would like to order a letter jacket, see your coach or Coach Kirksey. If you are in band, chorus, drama, or any other non-athletic group and would like to order a letter jacket, see Coach Kirksey.  

Attention Tri-M Music Honor Society members: Your semester points worksheet is due no later than Wednesday, December 15th. Be sure to turn in your paper copy to Ms. Way-Kiani or submit the Google form found on the Tri-M webpage.

The high school cheerleaders are selling "Let's Get Rowdy" spirit shirts for $15 now through next Friday, December 17th.  Flyers are posted around the school displaying the shirt design.  See a cheerleader or Ms. Benjamin to order yours today! 

The Lady Tigers improved their record to 7-4 last night with a win over Mt. Pleasant 50-25. The lady Tigers were led in scoring by Olivia Hart with 26pts, Addison Melton added 15pts, Reagan Brand had 4pts, Geny Bineza and Reilly McMillan had 2 pts apiece and Reese Carlisle added 1pt. The Lady Tigers will next be in action this weekend against Glencliff on Friday at 6 pm and Saturday vs Eagleville at 5pm. 

The Central Tiger bowling season ended last night with a close loss to Oakland. However, the Tiger spirit was amazing, especially from our seniors. In the ten-pin game Trent Skinner led the way with a score of 239, followed by Will Starling's score of 189. Central Magnet thanks our senior bowlers for their time and devotion over the past several years. Our seniors are Matthew Fleischman, Daniel Mullinix, Kimball Pike, Trent Skinner, Will Starling, and Cameron Yates. Thanks for the greatest season of bowling in Central's history. 

The Central Magnet Men's basketball Team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 55-25 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers on Tuesday night. Central was led in scoring by Kyle Messerly with 11 points and Mason Brown adding 10 points, Jake Maddux with 8 points, and Will Becker and Mclane Martin with 6 each. 

The Tigers will return to action with at home on Friday night when they take on district foe Glencliff." 

Students, if you are getting your Driver's Permit on the winter break, please go by the Attendance Office and get your SF-1010 no later than Friday, December 19th.  No one will be in the front office over the winter break.

Mamma Mia auditions will be pushed to tomorrow. We will do auditions and callbacks all tomorrow. This will require some students to stay past 6:15pm.
