The Middle School Swim Team had their final swims of the season at the Rutherford County Middle School County Championship on Saturday. The boys team placed fourth, the girls team placed second behind Oakland, and the team placed third overall with their combined score.
The Boys Medley Relay with Parker Lindquist, Charlie Hurst, JT Parkerson, and Benjamin Xiao placed third. The Girls Medley Relay with Peyton Roeder, Alex Abbott, Evie Riley, and Kim Bao Nguyen placed second. The Girls 400 Free Relay with Peyton Roeder, Marissa Bratsch, Alicia Moreno, and Chloe Roeder placed second. The Girls 200 Free Relay with Kim Bao Nguyen, Chloe Roeder, Alex Abbott, and Evie Riley placed first and got a new meet record!
Congratulations to Alex Abbott who placed third in the 200 Free and first in the 100 Free; Kim Bao Nguyen who placed first in the 200 Individual Medley and second in the 100 Butterfly; Evie Riley who placed second in the 50 Free and first in the 100 Breaststroke; Chloe Roeder who placed third in the 100 Free; and Peyton Roeder who placed third in the 100 Backstroke.
Middle school softball practice is canceled for today. We will practice Tuesday and Thursday this week until 5 at Barfield Crescent Park.
