High Schoolers! There are a VERY limited number of short-sleeve class shirts available for purchase on the website www.cmstees.com.  They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.   The shirts will be available until March 1st, or they sell out.  If you need a shirt, go order one before they are gone!  

Young Life Pizza Olympics Monday night at 7:57pm at the YL House 1515 Greenland drive. All high schoolers are invited to come and join in the fun! 

Any student interested in the Black Student Union should stop by Mrs. Taylor's classroom, room 222, after school today to touch base and to sign up to help prepare a presentation for the new student orientation night.  If you are unable to stop in after school, please check in with her during your 6th period study hall time. 

Registration and payment for spring AP exams is due by March 4th. 

Any Junior boy who is interested in attending the American Legion TN Boy State program this summer will need to see Ms. Gerhart in guidance.  A resume and essay are due to Ms. Gerhart by March 7th. 

The high school musical production of Mamma Mia opens next Thursday and runs through the weekend. The show is March 3-5 at 7pm and March 6 at 5pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and will be sold at the door. Come out and listen to some good music and support your fellow students!  

Prom tickets are on sale now through March 4th.  The cost of a ticket is $60, and you can purchase yours during C or D lunch.  Prom is April 9th at the Embassy Suites, so buy yours today! 

Congratulations to our archers that placed in the tournament this weekend.  In the bulls-eye tournament Mikayla Harris placed 2nd in the HS Girls Division and Jackson Harris placed 1st in the MS Boys Division.  In the 3D tournament, Jackson Harris and Owen Taylor placed 1st and 2nd in the MS Boys division, Mikayla Harris and Emily Taylor place 1st and 5th in the HS Girls division and Nathan Blunkall placed 3rd in the HS Boys division.  Jackson Harris was the boys' top shot in both the bullseye and 3D tournament. 

The Lady Tigers defeated Portland last Friday night 57-27 in the first round of the region tournament. The lady tigers were led in scoring by Olivia Hart with 21pts and 15 rebounds, Kaitlin Polly had 11pts and 6reb, Bethany Jackson also had 8pts, Addison Melton had 8pts, 6reb and 4 assists, Reese Carlisle added 7pts, Reilly McMillan chipped in 3pts, and Regan Creasy had 1pt. The lady tigers will play tonight in the region semi-finals vs White House HS at 7:30pm at Maplewood HS. 

Students, please remember that today, February 28th, is the last day to purchase a yearbook online and ensure that you get a copy of your own. Although we will have a few extra books that will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis at the end of the year, supplies will be severely limited. Again, today is your last chance to order a yearbook online. You can find the link to order on the CMS homepage. Please see Ms. Quinn if you have any questions.  

After Prom tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 7, and will be available at C and D lunch MWF for two weeks. Tickets are $20 and include a shirt. The deadline for purchasing a ticket with a shirt is Friday, March 18. Any sales dates offered later will be for tickets only, no shirts. Please have cash, a check made out to CMS PTO, or be Venmo ready. You will need your date's shirt size and parent's cell # at the time of purchase. See you next week!
