Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society is currently accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA and have taken a minimum of two AP Social Studies courses to be eligible. Applications can be found on the Rho Kappa tab of Mr. Eldridge's website. The deadline to turn in the application and a copy of their transcript is due to Mr. Eldridge in room 115 by March 25th.

The Class of 2022 is selling a "vintage" Central Magnet sweatshirt as a fundraiser for the Class of 2022.  The sweatshirt design is based on a sweatshirt from Central High School. Visit https://rocket.ist/CMS to order a sweatshirt today.  Sweatshirts will be on sale through Friday, March 25th.

Please dismiss the members of the high school pep band after announcements, to prepare for the pep rally.  

The Central Magnet Tiger baseball team rallied from down 6-2 to beat Community 7-6. The Tiger’s trailed 6-4 with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh. Adam Apigian ripped a bases clearing double scoring Mason Lanza, Hayden Griggs, and John Cook with the winning run. John Cook led the team going 2 for 2 at the plate. Matthew Fleischman picked up the win on the mound. The Tigers will play next in Hilton Head over Spring Break. 

Tiger tennis swept their matches against Smyrna yesterday, with most winning 8-0. JV plays Curry-Ingram today.  

Middle school softball lost to Rocky Fork 18-9. Elena Peck had personal best 10 strikeouts in 6 innings pitched. Hayley Mangrum not only made an amazing catch in left field, but also had a stand-up triple and posted 4 RBIs. The Lady Tigers return to play Monday, April 4 when they take on Christiana.  

MS Baseball Tigers moved to 4 and 4 on the season with a 10 to 3 win over Rocky Fork middle school.   The Tigers started slowly but ended the game with 13 hits. John Roth and Braden Donahue lead the Tigers with three hits apiece, Joshua Duggin and Benson Reavis had two hits apiece and Jon-Mical Courtney, Thomas Sesler and Braylon Dowell with his first varsity hit chipped in with a hit each.
